Please register both on this website and on our mailing list before posting (unless you are posting anonymously). Anything posted in these forums will be sent to the mailing list on your behalf. This thread is meant to allow users to use the forums or mailing list, with exactly the same results. Anything sent to the mailing list address will also be copied here in your name momentarily, and anyone can read content from the mailing list on this website.
Update: If you are an OSU student, registration is only required on the mailing list, then you should sign in here with your OSU username and password (before your first post) instead of registering. Note: If you are already registered, you can still link your OSU login to your account from your user profile.
In order for this list to work properly, you must be registered in both places. Otherwise, your message might get discarded without anyone seeing it, or other things can happen. If you post without signing in, it will go to a moderation queue and you will have to wait for an administrator to approve it. Please be sure to register on the Open Source Club mailing list using the exact e-mail address you registered with since Drupal will try to post using that e-mail address of your account. Anonymous submissions are still under construction, but will in the end land in the moderation queue for both the website and mailing list.
Note, this only applies to the mailing list thread. Submitting content anyplace else on the site will remain on the site and not be copied. So, if you want to keep up with the mailing list from the website, you can read/write in the mailing list thread and it will post anything you submit to the list on your behalf. Likewise, anything posted to the mailing list will show up in the mailing list forum automatically. If you want to submit something without it being sent to the mailing list you can submit your content anywhere else in the forums, such as club-related discussion.
